Hi Lynette – The Wheat Free fig bars are now called Multigrain Fig Bars. http://www.barbarasbakery.com/snacks-fig/ and you can purchase them direct through our site through the Buy Now link. If you let me know the area you are in, I can contact our Sales department to reach our to your local stores to ensure they can get back in stock. Thanks. -Jen
cant find your wheat free bars anymore. fun while it lasted. not quite right for me. gluten, corn, sugar, raisin, date, dairy free is my custom need. so i end up making my own. i’d still like to cheat occasionally with yours. but they’ve disappeared from all three stores i found them at.m whats up?
Hi MIke – I am so glad you posted this because we have not discontinued our whole wheat fig bars. I am not sure why the store stated that but I did check our online store and there is an error on the page where the whole wheat fig bars are missing so I have asked for it to be corrected immediately. My apologies and I hope yoru local store will decide to pick this product up again. Thanks. -Jen
The whole wheat fig bars are my mother-in-law’s favorite cookie, but she as told by the manager of her local health-foods store they were no longer being made. I see they are still listed on the products page, but they are not available through the Barbara’s on-line store.
ARE the whole wheat cookies being phased out?
I too am in disbelief that the Apple Cinnamon Fig bars were discontinued. I kept going to the Whole Foods market near me every week looking for them, since I only just discovered them around April or May of this year, but to my dismay they are never any on the shelf. I do also enjoy the Blue Berry ones but it would be nice to have the variety…. I will try the other Apple Bar you suggested, hope I like them as much.
Hi Carol – I do agree that the apple cinnamon figs were good and you are not the first to comment. They just never received enough fans out there to sustain them. We do have a multigrain cereal bar that is apple cinnamon and the filling has a similar taste. http://www.barbarasbakery.com/snacks-multigrain/ In the meantime, I do have your feedback on file for the product deveopment team to review. Thanks. -Jen
I can’t believe you discontinued the apple cinnamon fig bars. There is nothing else like it on the market and they are delicious. My toddler boys went crazy for them and it was the one sweet I felt ok about giving them to eat on a regular basis. They just don’t care for your other fig bars nearly enough (plus, one boy is allergic to raspberries, so can’t get that one) for me to buy them. Would you consider bringing the apple cinnamon back? I know I’m not the only one who would love to see them on shelves again. Please reconsider.
The Rasberry FigBars are great, very tasty and enjoyable . Ive just started to eating a truly healthy diet.
I see where you did discontinue the apple cinnamon fig bars, but I do get the apple cinnamon whole grain fruit bars and they are really yummy. I have not gotten try your fig bars, because I can’t find them in stores around us. I have ordered the multi grain fruit bars from you and will have to order the fig bars. Thank you so much for making items that those of use who have trouble finding food we can eat, can have a little normalcy in our lives and have really good tasting and nutritional food items available. Thanks again.
Wish you made the blueberry in the wheat free!! Also, saw where someone asked about the apple cinnamon, that would be great in the wheat free also.
Hi Christine – Yes, we did indeed discontinue the apple cinnamon flavor of the fig bars. I agree they were really tasty, but it is yet another product that just ceased to gain much popularity to survive. If you like the fig bars with the fruit flavored component, we do still carry both a raspberry and a blueberry fig bar. If you want, you can shoot me your street mailing address to jramst@weetabixna.com and I can send you a discount coupon to give them a try. Thanks. -Jen
My mom and I are huge fans of the apple cinnamon fig bars and are so upset that they have been discontinued! Any chance of bringing them back? The multi-grain cereal bars are just not the same!
