Puffins Family
We got the name for our cereals from a long-time employee who fell in love with puffins (the birds) on an Alaskan trip. They inspired us to fledge a flock of delicious wheat-free Puffins cereals with a crunch that’s almost as amazing as the birds they were named for! The best part of a Puffins breakfast is the hearty crunch, followed by a satisfied morning powered by naturally sweet grains. Playful as their namesake, Puffins cereals are equally delicious swimming in a bowl of milk or scooped up by the handful.
And now, with the kids in mind: super delicious, always nutritious Puffin Puffs, now made with prebiotics!
Puffins Multigrain
Lightly sweetened gluten free whole grain pure oats, brown rice and corn pillows are satisfyingly crunchy, and contain natural prebiotic fiber.

this is first time I have opened up your website and read comments which I had intended to post! The comments are true – the original Puffins are not “light and airy pillow soft” any more. They are a bit smaller and more crunchier, I think. Also, I used to pay $3+ for 12oz box and now $4+ for 10oz box. What gives? I miss the blue box – stood out more. Thank you
Hi E – It is true we did change the net weight which did happen to coincide with our new look. We made this decision in an effort to remain competitive in the marketplace We understand that is quite a disappointment particularly during these tough economic times. Hi Aaron – The initial version of Puffins that did not meet our expectations for quality are no longer on the shelf. While the equipment is not able to make a 100% exact match to the former product, we do believe we are much closer. We have tested well with consumers as well as received some great press including Bon Appetite awarding the Original Puffins as one of the top 5 healthy cereals. So, sadly, I guess i just bought my last box of Puffins. It’s obvious that when Barbaras changed the Puffins packaging, they also changed the recipe. Bad move – at least from my perspective. They just lost this 5+ year customer. Remember when Coke changed their recipe? Lesson not learned apparently.
I bought two boxes of Original Puffins from Whole Foods with the best by date 2011 APR 02 o4:16. Horrible taste! Having read the previous comments, I understand there was a manufacturing problem. What is the best by date for the “good original tasting” Puffins? I believe a refund or coupon is due for these two boxes which I cannot eat.
